Wren Tran Ryder is a Lighting & Sound Designer from Colorado. She is passionate about curating a different perspective for her team and audience via light and sound. Wren finds the best theatre is created with frequent collaboration and cross-pollination between the design areas. Her love of theatre originates in that it necessitates both creative and logical thinking.

Wren is currently wrapping up her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Northern Colorado with dual emphases in Lighting and Sound Design. She will also earn a minor in German and a Certificate of Arts Entrepreneurship. She is excited to enter the workforce and hopes to work as an assistant to grow her understanding and experience.

Her most recent project was Lighting Design for The Laramie Project, April 13-16 in the Langworthy Theater at the University of Northern Colorado.

Outside of the theatre, Wren is interested in gardening, hiking, cooking, and art. It is deeply important to her to leave the world a better place than how she found it.
