About: Sweat was produced in the intimate, Black Box Norton Theater, with under 100 instruments, with traditional incandescent and several LEDs present. Norton is limited in circuits, so many instruments were on Dimmer Doubler Modules and some instruments shared circuits. It was important to me to convey the shifts in time during the play, with tonal and focal contrasts between the scenes in 2000 and 2008. I met and color tested with both the scenic and costume designers and timed fade outs between scenes with the sound designer.
