About: Aurally I focused on placing the audience in the time period of the 1890's, working with Director Ken Womble I selected brief musical compositions, many by women contemporaries of Sarah Bernhardt, to carry us scene to scene. For intermission and pre-show, I found feminist anthems to connect the show to our modern day. Utilizing the DiGiCo SD8's snapshots made running the show much simpler and I miked the cast members with Countryman and PointSource mics. I also added two overhead speakers on stage to localize sounds and create soundscapes.
